The Commission has prepared a special plan to ensure safe and transparent elections. A total of 470 observers will be deployed, including 320 IAS, 60 IPS, and 90 officers from other services. These officers will act as the Commission's "eyes and ears" and monitor the electoral process at every level. The Commission says that strict action will be taken to prevent any kind of malpractice or bias.
Political Equations

At that time, the NDA won 125 seats, while the Grand Alliance had to settle for 110. In that election, held amid the COVID-19 pandemic, both security and health posed major challenges.
