Bihar Election 2025: Rahul Gandhi's 16-day Rahul Gandhi Voter Rights Yatra 2025 Schedule Released, Will Conclude in Patna on September 1

Ahead of the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025, the Congress has taken a major political initiative and announced the launch of Rahul Gandhi Voter Rights Yatra 2025. Former party president Rahul Gandhi will lead the yatra, which will start on August 17 and end with a huge public meeting at Gandhi Maidan in Patna on September 1.


Start of the Yatra and Program of the First Two Days

According to the information received, the yatra will start from Sasaram (Rohtas) on August 17. On the first day, Rahul Gandhi will participate in several public meetings and interact with the general public.

  • Lunch – Will be at Raj Vilas Resort.

  • 4 PM – The yatra will reach Thana Chowk in Dehri-on-Sone Bazaar.

  • 7:30 PMRahul Gandhi will address the public meeting at Ramesh Chowk, Aurangabad.

  • Night HaltBabhandih Sports Ground, Kutumba (Aurangabad).

On the second day i.e. 18th August, the yatra will proceed from Dev Road, Amba, Kutumba at 8 AM.

  • 7:30 PM – There will be a big public meeting at Khalis Park, Gaya.

  • Night HaltRasalpur Cricket Ground, Gaya.


Political Significance of the Yatra

The Congress is presenting this 16-day yatra not just as an election campaign but as a voter awareness campaign. Its objective is to make the public aware about their right to vote, the process of registering objections in the voter list, and the importance of democratic participation.

The special thing is that the yatra will conclude on September 1, which is also the last date for registering objections in the voter list. This further increases the relevance and political significance of the yatra.


Final Leg and Closing Program

On the 14th day of the yatra i.e. 30th August, Rahul Gandhi will reach Chhapra and will address a public meeting at Veer Kunwar Singh Park, Ara in the evening.

The yatra will be suspended on the 15th day (31 August).

The yatra will conclude with a mega rally at Gandhi Maidan, Patna on September 1.
