There was confusion regarding the voting dates for the last few days regarding Uttarakhand Panchayat Election 2025. Many types of rumors were spreading on social media that the election dates have been changed. But now the State Election Commission has made the situation completely clear. The Commission has clearly said that the Panchayat elections will be held in two phases only - on July 24 and July 28, 2025.

Put an end to rumors

The State Election Commission has made it clear that no change of any kind has been made in the dates of Panchayat elections. Voting will be held on 24 and 28 July, and that is the already fixed schedule. The Commission has appealed to the voters not to pay attention to the rumors running on social media.

Arrangement for re-polling already fixed

Election Commission Secretary Rahul Kumar Goyal informed that if voting is not held at any polling station on July 24 due to any emergency situation or natural disaster, then re-polling will be held on July 28 for such cases only.

Similarly, if voting is not held at any booth on July 28, then arrangements for re-polling will be made on July 30, 2025. This process is already fixed under the Panchayat Election Rules.
