Hardly 20-25 percent of youngsters registered themselves as a new voter.

They identify every new voter, who complete their 18 years of age by every January 1. Since our Republic Day, the ‘Constitution of India’ came into force on 26 January 1950. Just a day before, on 25th January 1950, The Election Commission was established in accordance with that Constitution. EC has participated in each exercise for registering and finding voters.
