After the voting in two phases of Panchayat Election 2025 in Uttarakhand, now the wait for the results is about to end. The fate of a total of 32,580 candidates for Gram Pradhan, Kshetra Panchayat Member and Zila Panchayat will be decided on 31 July 2025. The State Election Commission has completed all the preparations for counting of votes and counting places have been fixed in every district.

This time the Election Commission will also release the results through its official website https://sec.uk.gov.in, so that the public can see the Panchayat Election 2025 Result sitting at home.

Tremendous voting in the second phase too, women won

Despite heavy rains in the hilly districts of Uttarakhand, voters cast their votes in large numbers. A total of 70% polling was recorded in the second phase, which included 65.50% men and 74.50% women. It is clear from this that this time women participated enthusiastically in the festival of democracy.

Voting started at 4709 polling stations in 40 development blocks of the state from 8 am on Monday. 21,57,199 voters were registered in this phase. Tremendous enthusiasm was also seen in plain districts like Dehradun, Udham Singh Nagar regarding voting.

Fate is captured in three-tier panchayat elections, now waiting for the results

In the three-tier Panchayat elections 2025 of Uttarakhand, 17,829 candidates in the first phase and 14,751 candidates in the second phase have tried their luck. Now all eyes are on the counting of votes starting at 8 am on July 31.

State Election Commissioner Sushil Kumar said that the voting was completely peaceful and no major disruption was reported from anywhere.

Slight drop in voting percentage, still enthusiasm was seen

In the last 2019 Panchayat elections, a total of 69.59% voting was recorded, whereas this time this figure may go down slightly. 68% voting took place in the first phase and 70% in the second phase, which shows that people still have awareness and enthusiasm for local level politics.
