Delhi Assembly election 2025 bugle may sound soon, voting likely in the second week of February.  Approx 1.55+  crore voters will vote.

Delhi Assembly Election 2025 Final Voter List : Preparations for Delhi Election 2025 are in full swing. Revision of Final Voter List has been completed. Election Commission has declared the final voter list of different constituenies. This time more than 1 crore 55 lakh voters will cast their vote.

According to the ECI, in the final voter list of Delhi Assembly election there are 1,55,24,858 voters in total. Which includes 83 lakh male and 71 lakh female voters. It is expected that the election dates can be announced soon.

Along with this, the Election Commission has appointed ARO and AERO for all 70 assembly constituencies of Delhi.

When will the Assembly Elections be announced?

With the release of the voter list, the bugle for the Delhi assembly elections can be sounded soon. The date of the election can be announced anytime between 6 and 10 January. However, the dates have not been officially announced yet.

According to official sources related to the election process, voting can be held in the second week of February.

How many applications were received for adding names in the voter list?

Between 29 October and 28 November, about one lakh 32 thousand people had applied for inclusion of names in the voter list. Between 29 November and 30 December, four lakh 85 thousand 624 applications were received for inclusion of names in the voter list. After the start of the special summary amendment campaign in the list, six lakh 17 thousand 624 applications were received.

ARO-AERO appointed

In view of the Delhi Assembly elections, the Election Commission has appointed Assistant Returning Officer (ARO) and Assistant Electoral Registration Officer (AERO) for all 70 assembly constituencies of Delhi. ARO will assist the Returning Officer (RO) in the election. AERO will assist the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO).

Earlier, BJP and Aam Aadmi Party have been accusing each other of cutting votes. Recently, AAP reacted to the BJP's allegation of cutting votes. AAP said that BJP has been clearly caught trying to tamper with the voter lists and there is proof of this, the Election Commission has already ordered an FIR.

Now amid these allegations and counter-allegations, people are waiting for the announcement of Delhi Assembly Elections 2025.
