Bihar Election 2025: Talks with RJD on seats begin in Bihar, JMM will contest elections together

Political stir has intensified regarding Bihar Assembly Elections 2025. Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) has made it clear that it will contest the upcoming Bihar Election 2025 along with RJD. Party spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya said on Friday that talks have started regarding seats and JMM will play its role strongly under the alliance.

JMM's strategy and trust in alliance

Bhattacharya said that just as the alliance partners got respect in Jharkhand, the parties will be heard in Bihar as well. He clarified that the main objective of the alliance is to remove the double engine government and prepare a new path for the people of Bihar.

He claimed that Bihar Election 2025 will not be limited to state politics only, but this election will decide the direction of the country's future.

Accused of hate speech against BJP

The spokesperson launched a scathing attack on the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, alleging that the BJP started the politics of hatred and hate speech in the country. He called the FIR lodged against Rahul Gandhi unfair and said that the attempt to suppress the voice of the opposition is against democracy.

Bhattacharya referred to several statements made since 2014—such as comments like “Jersey cow”, “bar bala”, “50 crore girlfriend”, and “widow”. He said that “one cannot expect mangoes by planting an acacia tree. The BJP should apologize to the sisters and mothers of the country.”

Praise for the achievements of the Hemant Soren government

Supriyo Bhattacharya also praised the working style of the Hemant Soren government of Jharkhand. He said that steps like the formation of the Displacement and Rehabilitation Commission, the establishment of the Sahitya Akademi and the Lalit Kala Kendra are big decisions towards realizing the dreams of Shibu Soren.

Also, referring to the Koyalkaro and Netarhat movements, he demanded a quick decision on issues related to forest produce and revenue land. He also termed the decision to convert Guruji's (Shibu Soren) residence into a museum as historic.
